For an accounting firm, the price rise itself is the easy part. The work that follows is what lands inside the practice: pricing reviews, updated repeating invoices, and client emails explaining a decision the firm did not make. None of it billable. Firms that absorb the increase, or keep passing on their full partner discount, get squeezed at both ends every time the price moves.
Across a few hundred client subscriptions, even the $3 Grow increase is thousands of dollars a year that either reaches client billing or quietly comes out of margin.
